To help me create my character in Maya, I drew him in a t-pose. I've not added much detail to the sketch as colour and things will be added when I being uv mapping. I also took on the feedback given in the intrim crit and made his head slightly smaller and made his shoulders boarder, which you can't really tell in this pose.
I think the only way to stylise him to make him look more like the girl character is by having the same colour style, which again I'll come to when uv mapping.
