Ciara also mentioned the circus scene in Coraline, this contrasts the Despicable Me scene I previously talked about. But is still a great example to look at.
The lighting is a main feature in this, there's lots of spot lights which makes the whole think mysterious, but is a lot softer than the vibrant colours in Despicable me. But here the lighting directs the viewer around, focusing you on certain areas.
The sound in this is typically circusy, it's not as cheery as in Despicable Me, but then this is a completely different styled film. This sounds more mysterious and intriguing.
Sound will be a majour thing for us to look at, as it has to come a cross as fun, but also with some rivalry in there.
