MayaTutorial - pelvis

 Firstly I downloaded the reference photos within the tutorial folder, and opened them up into the appropriate planes. 

I added a cube to my workspace to begin modelling. I followed the tutorial and set the x-ray option so i could see the shape and guide I was following.   
I added 2 sub divisions as a starting point for manipulating the shape. 
I used the tool explained in the tutorials to add more edges which can then be pushed and pulled into position to match the reference. 

I was struggling to move the vertex I wanted, but it was pointed out to me that I needed to drag over the point to adjust the whole point. 
After following the tutorial I managed to create one side of the pelvis which I'm happy with. 

I previewed the smoothed version of the object, and thought it looked good. 

Now I just need to know how to mirror the shape when duplicated and connect it to the other side to create one shape.


I still need more practice, but think with the help of tutorials. I'l be able to get there.
