Telling tales - set building

As Ciara had gone ahead and started making the tent and and amazing ferris wheel, I got on with making the stall out characters would interact with.

I found making the main shape and the rings simple to do, but struggled to get the flag effect on the top of the stall.

Ciara suggested to make several edge loops and then pull the vertexes down, to do this.

I previewed it in smooth preview as I wanted it to fit with what Ciara had done with the tent, but it looked awful, I couldn't get the point on the top of the tent, so we decided not to render this in smooth preview.

I created some simple fish toys for the stall and rotated them so that the didn't look too neatly placed, and so they looked like they were hung to the stall.

We then decided that because we didn't want the floor plane to be never ending to  have some kind of fencing for the fair. I got on making some fencing and some poles in the corners to hand flags.

To save time I duplicated and rotated the fences
and for the font fences inserted an edge loop deleted the fences of where the entrance is.

I preferred the fences to be place behind the beems instead of through them, this was just easier of me to do and also looked more realistic.
I wanted to create string to go from post to post, but a thinner beam was all I could see to do, I think it looks okay though, and will just add in some lopped flags running across the top.
I created on loop then simply duplicated the group. this same me a lot of time.

I then selected every other flag, so I could could them as a group instead of going round individually.

Ciara then inserted my models into her scene to see how it would all look together, and also said she will colour it as she has the files now.
