Telling tales - generating ideas

For this modual, we are to work in pairs to create a 3d animated outcome. For this project I'm working with Ciara, as we get on very well and I feel we can both work at the same level and take on and improve eachothers ideas.

We first picked out two of the topics from the secetion we were given in the bruef and decided to look at 'Rivals' and Opposites attract' to start thinking of a range of ideas. 

With 'rivals' we starting thinking about what would be the cause of the rivalry, and more thinking about the story with this topic, whereas with 'opposites attract' we were thinking about the character, and how they were opposite. for example; is one tall and one short? Do they have opposing personalites? etc. We both took a liking to 'rivals' and thought we could then do further research on this topic from what we had disscussed. 

After more discussion with Ciara, she suggested setting our animation a competitive environment such as a talent show, or a fair ground. We both love the idea of a circus/ fair ground. And started drawing stalls where two character could be competeing for a prize or something. 

Now we're going to come up with a plot and look into exiting characters to get some inspiration.
