Using the design I already had on photoshop, I wanted to then print out an outlined version to transfer onto my pieces of card.
After figuring out how I could actually turn my block coloured shapes into outlines, I did this by selecting on the the styles in the sidebars, and by right clicking a selecting blending options I could adjust the outline so that the line was thicker and easier of me to see.
I then saved this file as a pdf, so that I could print it.
I printed the file on layout paper, which works as a pretty good alternative to tracing paper.
I turned the sheet over and traced around the line of the first layer in pencil.
When i had done this, I turned the paper back over so that the design would be the right way, and taped down the corners of the two pieces of paper so they wouldn't move when transferring over the design
I drew over the printed line, this time in biro so I could firmly press down so that the line was more visible on the card underneath.
I repeated this process with ever layer before cutting anything out.
