Final animations with feedback

For these animations I took a simple approach, using a white background and a bright colour to represent the sounds.

Feedback I got from the class was that the timing of the audio and the animation matched up well. A point which I agree with is that the blocks could have been thinner to reflect the high pitch tone of the sound. It was mentioned that I should have experimented more with colour and shape, one colour was too simplistic, but then  some liked that it was simplistic. A comment I also got was that the composition looked very similar to an animation Bleep, I'm not aware of this film, so it was pure accident that my composition was similar.

I think I could make the blocks thinner, as they don't really reflect the tone, and also I could have use more that one colour, but then I was going for a minimalistic look.

Comments made in this animation were that; the sound fit the animation but could have been slightly faster at the beginning, it looks like glass and they liked how it shattered and it was said that it was detailed.

I do think that some bits could have been cleaned up a bit where I was erasing parts of the circle to make the shattered bits smaller

The feedback I received from this one was that it represented the sound really well, it's simplistic, but they asked why the white background. I think I just wanted it to be very simplistic, and wanted the movement to be the main focus.

I had different comments with this one, some where saying the dots matched up, some where saying other wise, I personally don't think I quite matched up the dots, but there definitely is a dot for each popping noise which someone said there wasn't. Also it was said that there could be something extra to show the dots popping instead of just going.

Even though some people said I should have more colour, I wanted it to be simplistic, but did use a bold but fun colour to represent the popping.

Feedback I got from this were that the shape could move slightly faster to match up with the sound. They liked how it got thinner, like it was been sanded or the saw was cutting wood. It could have rotated or rocked as it moved to create that saw action.
