Crit amends

One thing mentioned in my feedback was that the plants at the front would look better if they were to move. 

I did two attempts at making them sway, the first I manipulated the plant by rotating and scewing the plant, but it didn't flow nicely so I changed my approach and manipulated the plant my editing the anchor points. 

with this attempt, I tried to add the arc rule into it, still I couldn't get it to look right. I think I'd have to do it again frame by frame, but with the time I have left, I think I'll just leave the ident as it is for now, as I'm happy with the outcome. 

Final crit

Showing my work in the final crit gave me some good point and some points I can improve on. Some positive feed back for the Discovery Channel ident was that the textured paper on the layers were nice, the fish work really nice and they flow really well. Some things that I could do to improve this ident would be to have the plants on the first layer, sway in some way and it was said that I could add more underwater effects but I don’t really think it need things like bubbles. A simple sway of the plants would just add to the simplicity off the whole thing.

With the E4 idents one good comment I received was that it was well lit, the set is meant to be on a window sill and it was said if I can add that aspect of it in then it will look better. I think it’ll be difficult to do as everything is in one photo. So I can't really go back and fix it without redoing the whole thing.
